HIGHER INSURANCE PREMIUM FOR CELEBRITIES BUT ALSO THEIR WIVES, HUSBANDS, GIRLFRIENDS, AND BOYFRIENDS


The UK based insurance company Elephant.co.uk is to offer quotes tailored to celebrity motorists just as they do for people with traditional jobs.

But the insurance won't include in this categories only the real celebrities, but also anybody who has been seen on TV, as reality TV participants.

The problem is that when you are an actress or singer car insurance premiums are higher than for normal people but somebody who has been only once on TV might not be able to afford such high premiums.

These reality TV guest who are famous for being famous do not want to be treated as celebrities as they are sometimes not rich enough to deserve such a treatment.

Premiums for "celebrities" and TV stars are 20 to 40 % higher than for people with usual jobs as shop sellers or museum guides, and this high prices are not only aimed towards the celebrities themselves but also their boyfriends, girlfriends, husband, and wives, as some famous soccer players' wives who have also been considered as celebrities and had to pay the full price.

Being a celebrity is not always a good thing!
